The Ken Williams Kids in Sports Foundation
When we initially shared some funding opportunities over the past couple of weeks, we had several members of our communities reach out offering to sponsor a kid in hockey this season. Everyone needs an assist at some point, and it fills our hearts to see our association members supporting one another like this.

At this time, both the Southern Shore Minor Hockey Association (SSMHA) and the Gould’s Minor Hockey Association (GMHA) are very happy to announce our partnership with the Ken William's Kid in Sport Foundation. The foundation was created in memory of the late Ken Williams, a key figure in our local hockey programming as well as programming on the provincial level.

The foundations' mission: Every Kid Deserves the Opportunity

During the registration process this season, you may see optional $25 and $50 donation fees. If you are interested in helping sponsor local kids in hockey this season, you can either select one of these options or reach out to the foundation directly if you wish to donate more. Any money collected by each association will go back into each of our communities to support families needing help this season.
