The Breakaway Foundation is a non-profit organization in partnership with HockeyNL with the goal of providing financial assistance to youth or Newfoundland and Labrador who dream of playing hockey.

 

KidSport NL believes all kids have the right to play organized sports and provides funding for registration fees and equipment costs.

 

Canadian Tire Jump Start is a charity that helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation.

 

Most of these opportunities are not exclusive to hockey. They apply to all sports.
