Return To Hockey Effective January 24th

news2022-01-21

As per the recent announcement from Hockey NL which lifted the suspension of minor hockey activities, we are pleased to advise that we will be returning to the ice for skills and drills sessions starting on Monday, January 24th.  Practices will involve non-contact drills only with physically distancing.  Schedules will be posted in the next day or so.

Please note the following:

  • We are currently ONLY permitted practices at this time.  There will be absolutely NO games or scrimmages at this time.
  • Only ONE parent/guardian per player will be permitted in the rink. Spectators MUST physically distance and wear a mask at all times. Vaxpass will be checked at the door.

  • Players must arrive at the rink in full hockey gear (with the exception of goalies). Dressing rooms will be provided to put on skates/helmets.
  • Player must remain physically distanced while in the dressing room and masks are worn at all times when not on the ice.

  • Coaches are required to wear a mask at all times both on and off the ice.

  • Enter the arena no early than 10 mins prior to scheduled ice time and leave immediately after.
  • Before coming to the rink, every player and parent/guardian/spectator should review the screening form for COVID 19 symptoms. If you are experiencing any COVID symptoms, please do not attend.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience with these guidelines as we get our minor hockey players back on the ice.
